Laura Fierce, Chief Marketing Officer
At the executive level, it’s easy to assume coaching is no longer necessary. Serving as a Chief Marketing Officer, I initially believed coaching was more suited for developing leaders earlier in their careers. Choosing to engage in coaching proved to be one of the most valuable leadership decisions I’ve made. The coaching experience provided a rare opportunity to refine strategic thinking, strengthen executive presence, and gain perspective from someone with deep experience guiding growth-focused organizations. It challenged assumptions, sharpened priorities, and helped ensure that my leadership approach remained intentional rather than reactive. High-level leadership can be isolating; having a trusted coach creates space for reflection, clarity, and elevated decision-making. The return was not only personal it positively influenced how I lead teams, drive performance, and align strategy with long-term organizational impact.
